Ticketing:
● Ticket prices are subject to change without notice.
● No refunds or cancellations.
● The Empress Theatre & OHPAA are not responsible for missed shows.
● Exchanges may be processed online for the same show, based on availability, up to 24 hours prior to the ticketed performance for a $5 Exchange Fee per seat.
● Online sales close at 6:00 PM for evening performances & 1:00 PM for Matinees.
● Emergency exceptions may be granted at the discretion of Box Office management.
● Box Office may open 30 minutes prior to performance start time.
● Passes do not guarantee a seat, and must be redeemed for a reserved seat.
● All seats are reserved.
● Wheelchair Seating are reserved for individuals with disabilities who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices. Other individuals with disabilities are eligible to purchase tickets for accessible seats if they require the use of the features of accessible seating. Companion seating based on availability.
● Seats may be reserved for performers, staff, and administrators to safely operate each performance.
● Standby Seating may be available from the Box Office for Sold Out shows. Patrons must check in with the Box Office attendant.
● Purchased seats that remain unoccupied at the start of the performance may be resold without a refund to the original ticket holder.
● If the Theater cancels an individual performance, the ticket holder may either:
(1) reschedule,
(2) donate the tickets,
(3) receive a gift certificate in the value of the tickets.
There will not be any refunds.
House Rules:
● Evening performances begin at 7:30 PM. Matinees begin at 2:00 PM. Doors may open 30 minutes prior to performance start time. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled performance time.
● Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the management. Many performances have a mandatory seating hold after the show begins, so as to not disrupt the opening number or scene.
● Concessions may be available for purchase 30 minutes prior to curtain & during intermission.
● PLEASE NO GUM!
● The Empress Theatre welcomes individuals who are five (5) and older to attend any performance. We advise parents to be aware of the subject matter before bringing children. We do not allow children under the age of 5 or babes in arms in the theatre.
Our EYT productions will be exempt from this rule and we may, on occasion, have a special matinee designated for those three (3) and older. Please inquire at the Box Office.
